How the Ciiber text messaging program works — what we send, how often, what it costs you, and how to stop it in one word.
These SMS Terms and Conditions (the “SMS Terms”) govern the text messaging program (the “Program”) operated by Ciiber LLC (“Ciiber,” “we,” “us” or “our”), a New Jersey limited liability company located at 766 Park Ave, Ste 2, Lakewood, NJ 08701, United States.
By providing us with your mobile number and opting in, you agree to these SMS Terms. If you do not agree, do not opt in, and reply STOP to any message you receive from us.
Depending on the number you provide and how you opted in, messages may include:
We send text messages only to mobile numbers whose owner has given us prior express consent. You may opt in by:
By opting in you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, that you are the subscriber to the mobile number provided or are authorized by the subscriber to opt that number in, and that the number is a valid mobile number able to receive SMS/MMS. You agree to tell us promptly if you give up, transfer or change that number, so that we do not message a person who never consented. You may notify us of a change by replying STOP from the old number or by emailing us at the address in section 12.
Consent is specific to Ciiber. We do not obtain consent on behalf of, or send messages for, any third party.
Message frequency varies. The number of messages you receive depends on the services you use and how you interact with us. Conversational and support messages are sent as needed in response to your activity; recurring notification and marketing programs generally send no more than 4–8 messages per month. We do not guarantee any particular frequency, and you may receive more or fewer messages in a given month.
Message and data rates may apply. Ciiber does not charge for the Program, but your mobile carrier may charge you for each message sent or received, or the messages may count against your plan’s allowances. Check with your wireless provider for details of your plan. You are solely responsible for all charges from your carrier.
You can cancel at any time. Text any of the following keywords to the number that is messaging you:
After you send one of these keywords, we will send a single confirmation message and then stop sending you messages from that number. You will not receive further messages from that program unless you opt in again.
If you opted in to more than one type of message (for example, service notifications and marketing), opting out of one number or program may not stop the others; text STOP in reply to each, or email us and we will remove your number entirely. You may also ask us to stop by replying to any message in plain language or by emailing the address in section 12 — automated keyword handling is simply the fastest route.
If you opt out and then text us again, or opt in again through any of the methods in section 2, we will treat that as new consent and may resume messaging you.
Text HELP to any number that messages you and we will reply with our identity and contact details. You can also reach a human at any time:
Email hello@ciiber.co or write to us at 766 Park Ave, Ste 2, Lakewood, NJ 08701, United States. We answer support email during normal business hours, Monday–Friday.
The Program is available on most major U.S. wireless carriers, but carrier participation can change without notice and not every carrier or handset supports every feature.
Ciiber is not responsible for any delay, failure, error, cost or loss caused by your carrier, your device, your service plan, or any interruption of wireless service.
SMS and MMS are not encrypted end to end and can be read by your carrier, by anyone with access to your device, and by anyone who obtains control of your number. Do not send passwords, payment card numbers, government identification numbers, health information or other sensitive data by text. If your device is lost or stolen, or your number is transferred, tell us immediately so we can suspend messaging to that number.
Information you give us through the Program is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these SMS Terms by reference.
Do not use the Program to send unlawful, abusive, harassing, defamatory or infringing content, to impersonate another person, to submit a number you are not authorized to use, or to interfere with the operation of the Program. We may suspend or end your participation at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have breached these SMS Terms or if we discontinue the Program.
We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. The version posted at ciiber.co/policies/sms-terms is always the current one, and the effective date at the top of this page shows when it last changed. Material changes will be announced by text or email where required. Your continued participation after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
These SMS Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Nothing in these SMS Terms limits any right you have under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act or other applicable law.
